Building automation
Building automation is the combination of autonomous and decentralised digital open and closed-loop control systems (DDCs) with one or more PC-based central control units.
Intelligent building automation systems create a meaningful link between the different areas of heating/climate control/cooling/ventilation, sanitary systems, electrical engineering, security engineering and conveying systems like lifts and escalators.
Data exchange can be triggered both manually by a user and automatically via sensors. It forms the basis of the building control systems. In this way, all of the specific data, measured values, operating messages and alarm messages, input signals and switching signals can be queried, reported, logged, saved and used for further processing at any time.
With this technology it is possible to initiate controlled measures for the optimisation of operating sequences.
